Projects full of personality did start making more regular appearances around 2002(again, I have to stress this is a personal opinion!) - I especially loved the 'My Name is No No Bad Cat/Dog, What's Yours?' Cross-stitch wall hangings from the January 2003 issue. "simple") that I believe are inferior to the beautifully detailed projects they had collected in the past. They also fell back on a lot of projects with pretty generic designs(i.e. They stuck with the full-size patterns and lovely photography of the projects - but no longer included the pattern sheet insert, so stopped carrying the well detailed cloth doll and teddy bear patterns they had throughout Country Handcrafts, and replaced them with lots of boring wreath (OMG they fell in LOVE with Wreaths!) and home decor/party theme crafts that you didn't need patterns for. I had high expectations when they changed titles and format. SUMMARY: I was lucky to find a full run of these on e-bay for a reasonable price, and snatched them up, as I am a big fan of Country Handcrafts. PUBLISHER, but are scanned from my private collection.
